Vagabond in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is romantic, historic, beautiful.

Tedly at sunset in Puerto VallartaWe lived there two months and we would certainly go back for a longer stay. One of my favorite places in the world for a malecon is here. It goes from Playa Los Muertos to the beginning of a neighborhood I love, Colonia 5 de Diciembre.

Here is a bit of info about that neighborhood, and other PV points:

There are a few Facebook groups that really helped me. First, ‘Puerto Vallarta: Everything you need or want to know.’ Great group of expats. Several people helped answer my various questions. Also, if you are looking for events, sometimes ‘Puerto Vallarta- What is happening in the Bay Area’ had ideas I didn’t see anywhere else.

We’ve been going to Puerto Vallarta for years, so maybe I was less inspired to write blog entries about the city when we were recently there. I did write more, than listed above, but the entries were of a more personal nature and they may not interest you.

As always, we met some wonderful people while we lived there, and if you need help with something specific, we may be able to connect you, so don’t be afraid to ask!
